Sažetak
The importance of hydroxyl radical (HO·) reactions in degradation of recalcitrant water pollutants has been recognised and advanced oxidation processes are viewed as potentially convenient and economical way for treatment of water loaded with different chemical wastes. This study reports the development of potentiometric method for monitoring of decomposition of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate which isn´t easily biodegradable at higher concentrations or under anaerobic conditions. For that purpose photo assisted advanced oxidation process was applied. The results obtained in potentiometric titrations agreed with those obtained by the official method (MBAS).
